The Internet is Not Forever

I found out that the Internet is not forever the hard way. When an acquaintance deleted the entire archive of our conversations on Telegram over the past 5 years, it made me quite upset. I want to save the conversations, because I had some very interesting discussions with him, where I shared my thoughts on various topics. He never told me that he was deleting everything. Telegram allowed him to delete the whole conversation for both of us, which I think is unfair. They should only allow him to delete things that he actually wrote, not what I wrote as well.
